Something different to refresh your palate.
I would describe it as having beautiful smooth sweet chocolates (not bitter cocoa – I really mean chocolates) with a wonderful, sweet and fruity acidity. Without milk it has a thick syrupy mouth feel with its full body taste. With milk, the planets align…. A really surprising bean from the region. It punches well above the already well established quality typical of the Ugandan region.
It has great versatility and is simply stunning as a short or long black and is sublime in milk with that all important ability to cut through beautifully.
It’s one of those cups that will give you a sweet tasting lovely smack in the chops to get you going on Monday and then give you a nice big warm hug from Nanna on Sunday. ….
Such a beautiful cup – it really does have a range whereby it delivers on every level of your palate with a smooth rolling aftertaste.
As the beans develop in the days after roasting, it continues to morph through complex stages that improve the depth of flavour in your cup. This is one that I’m really enjoying and has just been made available to you.
Reward yourself – and your palate. This one is definitely worth the effort – you will not be disappointed!
